She was born on the 15th of April in 1963 in Gdańsk as a daughter of Stanisław Stępniewski and Maria Burdak’s home. From her childhood, she lived in Sopot, where she graduated from Primary School No. 8. Jan Matejko, then Second High School for them. Bolesława Chrobrego in 1982. In the patches 1983-1988, she obtained a diploma with honors at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk at the Faculty of Painting and Graphic Arts under the supervision of Professor Jerzy Zabłocki.
From 1990 to 1991, she used the scholarship of the Ministry of Culture and Art for young artists. Her creative output was presented at individual exhibitions: in Düsseldorf (Germany), Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Bonn (Germany), in the „HI HI TE” gallery in Toronto (Canada), in BWA in Sopot „Between copper and blue”, Dworku Sierakowskich (Sopot), Die Galerie, Wilhelmshaven (Germany), Museum of Sierakowski Manor (Wejherowo). She also participated in group exhibitions, including: „Arte Femenino” in Norderstedt (Germany), „Unions”, church of St. Jana (Gdańsk), VIV ARTIS GALLERY (Sopot, 2000/2001).
Her paintings can be found in private collections in Poland (including Lech Wałęsa) and abroad: in the USA, Canada, Japan, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy and England.
From 2013. She stays partly on Santa Cruz de Tenerife (in summer and winter) as well as in Poland and England.
